And the slacking continues…

Not only have I been exercise fail, but food FAIL as well. I didn’t bring lunch to work and I was slammed again so I ran out of time. I really need to get up earlier and get my act together. I had a hard time sleeping last night and woke up before 5 with a horrible headache which I attribute to dehydration after too much salt and sugar and not enough water. I had a dry mouth and a split upper lip – yep, dehydration.

I was at work late today and didn’t make it to strength class, much to my dismay. My headache returned about an hour before I was off work and I was debating about it and decided at first to not go, and then I felt better and wanted to go but didn’t finish early enough. Ugh…

I’ve got a tempo run scheduled tomorrow; I have to get it done EARLY if I want to get it done at all. It’s supposed to be super cold, too. Thankfully I still have the cold weather gear from when I lived in New York! I knew I kept it for a reason…it’s only going to be 40 degrees at the most. Definitely time for UnderArmour ColdGear tights!

  1. It was 10 degrees here before windchill when I left the house, brr!!! Don’t be too hard on yourself, you’ve had a crazy couple weeks between work, buying a house, etc! Have you thought of packing your lunch the night before? I try to pack mine and Chris’ right after dinner when I’m putting away leftovers, so in the morning we just have to put our sandwiches or whatever in our lunch bags and go đŸ™‚

  2. I know how it goes. Work has been crazy for me, too, and the ONLY way I get a workout in is if I do it in the morning. I do find packing lunch the night before works better for me, though. But I’m lucky in that if I don’t pack a healthy lunch, the hospital cafeteria (great salad bar) is only a short walk away.
